I would have dropped Bagwell. Its not THAT bad of a move, but I just dont see Sanchez doing much of anything for all that long.

Lawtom should steal 20+ and has a job. Decent power numbers for a fantasy 4th or 5th OF too...I think that was an AWFUL decision.

I agree with the move. Nice team. No harm done. Sanchez should get you some swipes, and you didn't need the 15 Hr's from Lawton. Not a bad move.

Precisely my thinking. Lawton is a nice player, but what use do I have for him? Sanchez will help my SB more than Lawton will, and he'll bat a higher average. I don't need Lawton's power.
That said, I'll probably pick Lawton back up to see if I can deal him or Bagwell.

Well Lawton is more use to you than Bagwell is. Not that it really matters, they're only bench players.
And is this clown actually gonna start in TB? Why would they ruin the top of the order like that? Crawford isn't the best at getting on base either, but one guy hovering at a .330 OBA is bad enough. Somebody needs to be on for Huff to drive them in!

So just how did Gathwright get in Piniella's doghouse? Must be something more to it than what was mentioned?

Bautista retired? I thought he was still a pretty good hitter, and not that old

Ever since he dove forward for a ball in the OF and dislocated his shoulder I guess his career has gone down the drain. I remember watching that play because I had him on my team at the time and was hoping it was nothing serious. I guess it was.
