He will get in...though his stock dropped from sure-fire, no doubt first ballot to at least marginally debateable. Might not make first ballot now, but will get in.
He damn well better wear a Jays hat. Gary Carter trying to screw the Expos was bad enough. Alomar achieved everything in Toronto... in the prime of his defensive years, won 2 WS, set the consecutive errorless games record, was part of the trio that led the league in BA (along with Molitor and Olerud). What did he do after he left? Spat on an umpire, that's about it
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

He did a pretty nice job in Cleveland too. And with better numbers albeit no rings. 5 years with the Jays, 4 with Balt and 3 with the Tribe...

i remember reading somewhere that he will wear the Jays hat if he got into the Hall. his reasoning was that is where he won the WS, and figures had his personal best seasons.
I think he's still HoF material, maybe like Yanks said, not sure-fire first, ballot (but then again he never really was), but he will get in. As for what hat he will wear, I have no idea. His best years were probably '91-'93 (TOR) and '99 and '01 (CLE) for what it's worth.
