Why don't we figure out this guy now so I can go pick him up for my empty roster spot (drafted Wade Miller B-) ):-?

Who the best?

Jarrod Washburn
Bobby Madritsch
Victor Zambrano
John Lackey
Ryan Lohse
Ryan Drese
Jeff Francis
Mike Maroth
Erik Bedard
Dave Bush

I like Madritsch best out of the bunch.

Jeff Francis(even though the coors factor) could surprise.

Same for Bush.

If Rick Peterson is half the pitching coach he thinks he is then I like Victor Zambrano.

Who will have more K's? Zambrano or Francis, Francis is projected to be a strike out artist? Anyone else on there that strikes you a good K/9 prospect?

I like Francis. Madritsch is okay, too.

Francis should outpitch Zambrano... Zambrano's talent is that nobody knows where his pitches are going. The drawback is that even he doesn't know. Until he can prove that he's improved his control, I wouldn't touch him.

You don't really want the next Jarrett Wright... When Wright first came up with the Indians he was lights out, and filthy 8-o , than he lost his control :-o ... He was a scrub for many year's until "Leo" taught him how to pitch again :-D ...

This is what I have for Miller (05 Projections), Compared to Wright in 04

Jaret Wright

W:15
L:8
SV:0
IP:186
K:159
ERA:3.29
WHIP:1.28

Wade Miller

W:11
L:8
SV:0
IP:149
K:125
ERA:4.05
WHIP:1.40

Miller wont even compare to what Wright did. I'd take him off that list. I give alot of credit to the Braves for Wights breakout year. I don't expect anyone to 'pull a Wright' in 2005.

I'm not sure if Miller's arm can take that kind of workload. That's an awful lot of innings, even for a healthy guy. :-D
