Pretty good team Blu. ;-D

Since its H2H instead of roto, how do you feel about punting a catagory? Looking at your lineup, it appears you should be able to punt BA and be very successful in the other 8 cats (you do need saves too). If you think that might be the best strategy for you, Helton's value decreases significantly since much of his value is based on his BA - not his power.

As for your team, the only glaring weakness I see is Vinney Castilla. There isnt a chance he should be starting for you - let alone as a util. Your bench could be upgraded too.

Great SPs - really nicely done to land Burnett as your #4 - thats incredible. You can throw back ROrtiz and Suppan for now - same with Rincon - the elite setup guys like Rincon are less valuable in H2H leagues than tehy are in limited IP leagues like roto.

Who is available on your WW?

Good looking team overall, but I really would recomend you punt BA and concentrate on your other cats - Trade Helton.

Good Luck. ;-D

Hmm...
I will start with the overall and then break it down more thoroughly...
Overall, a mediocre team... I would say in a 12 team league 8th place sounds about right...
BUT, there is hope with a couple of moves you could definitely move to the middle of the pack...
Now let's start the break-down...
Catcher... Not good... BARRET!?! Bah... Get someone better off of waivers, anyone...
Helton will put up good numbers in colorado...
Reyes... Not a fan.... See if Iguchi is on waivers... If not, maybe go with Womack... Definitely need to upgrade there...
Chavez is good... He should be fine this season with around 30 hrs...
Izturis... Again, not a fan, but he is a much better player then Reyes...
Truly, I like your outfield.... A mix of Speed and Power...
Konerko will give you power, but see if someone will give you anything for Castilla... He is worthless out of the thin air!
You should be able to upgrade the bench from waiver wires...
Not to pitching....
Sheets, YAY! Harden, not bad.... Perez, not bad again... Watch Ortiz... He isn't in Alanta anymore so he looses a lot of value (Like he had any to begin with)...
I don't like the Perez trade...
So overall...
SBs should be good...
HRs, maybe on some weeks...
Rbis, Ditto....
Runs, Decent but not much to bank on...
BA... Yeah, doubtful....
WINS, LOL Good luck here....
Ks, should be good...
Saves, Depends on who you play...
ERA... A decent shot at winning...
WHIP... Maybe, but doubtful...
BTW, if you are going to trade Perez, get K-Rod or Lidge...
Mine...
