Nope .... plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the plantar fascia, a broad ligament running along the plantar (the sole of the foot), from the base of the toes and around the back of the heel, where it attaches to the heel bone.

damn thats sounds disgusting and painful. i may have to slide albert down a bit.
if you do can I join your league and get the first pick?

In that case, wouldn't you rather go to his league and get the 2nd pick?? :-?

lol, what a cruel man you are Lofunzo! :-D

for those who are curious:

http://healthlink.mcw.edu/article/987116429.html

http://www.arthroscopy.com/sp09001.htm (nice diagram)

notice the MOST EFFECTIVE treatment is surgery. However, this is not needed for most people, and typicaly it is not a serious injury and can be easily treated.

And yes, those "sound treatments" are a load of crap that idiots buy into. I dont know why anyone is having those done, the new england journal of medicine did an interesting study debunking them

Anyways, unless albert is one of those rare few who has big problems with this, he'll be fine. I think the WORST CASE SCENARIO is he misses 4-6 weeks around june to get it treated orthoscopily. And thats doubtful. He's still worth the top pick.

Pujols to me is a bigger risk than any of the other top picks out there.. beltran/vlad/arod. I hope I don't get a top 3 pick so I don't have to make this decision
