12th rd in standard leagues is way too early considering the amount of guys projected to put up similar numbers.

Trot Nixon will put up similar numbers across the board but with a higher BA.

Where was Nixon drafted in your league - that should answer your question as to when Shrek should be drafted.

Personally I think Jenkins will do better, and he isn't being drafted till round 20, or not at all in my 12 team leauges.

However, I definitely think that Mench is capable of hitting .300, if you look at his minor league numbers he was an excellent hitter in the minor leagues.

uhhhh... this isn't the minors... to quote the great dorothy, "we're not in kansas anymore."

that being said, i do have him on my team, picked him up on the FA wire after the draft actually, and i'm looking forward to promoting him to my starting lineup once i manage to trade garret anderson for some good pitching.
