This is in the wrong forum but to help you out, there is no specific order to chose your players. There is what they call thin positions like SS and 2B where you have players like Utley that can give you a big advantage in that position perse and thus having an advantage in your league. Other than that its up to you.
Now to keep it in the forum. I predict that this post will be moved.
BTW what did you finish in your football league? Do you think it was good advice?

Yes, it was excelent advice. I am in the playoffs and have a great chance of winning.
RBs are the most important to get up front. They get you the most points. The only QB that was worth it up front was Peyton Manning.
Then get the WRs.
However, if you can get tjhe top defense after you get 2 top RBs, and 2 WRs, I would do so. I had Chicogo defense and they often gave me more points then allof my other players.
This is why I was hoping for some similar advice.
Someone told me to get the hitters first.
