I was thinking about getting him in a trade for sheets and dunn for prior, bay, wright and brain giles. Is he going to be alright to play and should I do this trade?
hey man good to see you in the baseball cafe for a change
they are saying that he may not even miss a start, but it's all speculation at this point. and who would be the 2 players you would drop to make room for the incoming payers? that may influence it a bit
he showed improvement but still felt discomfort. the cubs said they were optimistic would pitch in the first week of the season. i may not share the same optimism but at this point i still think he wont miss much time.
Hey buser, this particular league is quite deep- 26 players and I was thinking about dropping Alexis Rios and either Jason Lane or Reed. I dont know what I should do..

How many starting positions?
Dont drop Reed, whatever you do.
I dont think I would do it - as much as I like Prior, Sheets is darn good, and Dunn gets better every yr.
yeah, i figured not to drop redd, lane and rios would be dropped. There is 9 pitchers, 1 for every fielding postion, 5 OF and 2 Utilities. This would be the offical trade- Sheets and Dunn for Prior, Thome, Brain Giles and Jason Bay. I think that I would be improving with the extra two players and Thome and Dunn almost cancel out.

I think thats a fair enough risk. Make the trade.
Next time though, you should probably post this in the trade forum.

I did, but only a couple of people replied to the post. The orginal topic was about Priors injury which impacts this trade a lot. thanks for the advice though!
