They havent announced why Giambi isnt there "have they" ESPN was saying all morning he would be there.
No, it was announced yesterday that he would not be attending. The panel said he was disinvited. I bet Selig put pressure on the committee because he'd have to tell the truth.

Giambi's lawyers asked for and received an excused absense. The reason why none of them got called is because they already gave testimony to a grand jury. They wanted new blood here.
