I dunno about that....If Beltre can somehow get better than he did last year, it's very possible for him to win it. He hit .334 last year if I'm not mistaken. Hitting .345 isn't out of the question if you ask me....
It would take a lot of things to go his way but helton could do it on the planet that is Coors. Could easily lead the league in batting average, it's just up to the rest of his team to get on base in front of him.
I don't think anyone has a legitimate shot (until teams start pitching to Bonds again), but there is always the outside chance. I would say Manny and Pujols.
pujols would be my main choice....a AL player will have a tougher time due to ichiro, but pujols will not have a easy time either with bonds only getting 200+ walks.......
