It would have been funny if they released both Koch and Hinske together. But I guess even Hinske doesn't suck that bad.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

Aww that's too bad, Justin Miller just lost his best friend.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

Billy Koch: Mets May be Interested
RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com

Update: The Mets are very interested in Koch, who was released Thursday by the Blue Jays, the NY Newsday reports.
Recommendation: The Mets made a run at trading for Koch during the 2004 winter meetings, and pitching coach Rick Peterson is also a Koch fan, having tutored him with the A's. Given the state of the Mets' bullpen, it's probably worthwhile to bring him into camp, though we doubt he has much left.
