But that's the sport -- along with football -- that pays the bills, so I don't have a problem with it personally. Also, I would venture to say that most of those players wouldn't even be in college if they weren't on scholarship, so can we realistically expect them to have exceptional graduation rates? I'm not trying to belittle "student" atheletes, so I hope no one takes it that way. :-o

Well this is a shocker ;-7

But what amazes me is that not a single LSU player graduated. Wow. And they're thinking of making college mandatory like it is in football? If guys like Darius Miles and Amare Stoudemire (he can't even spell Stoudamire correctly!) are forced to go to college the collective GPA of the entire country will plummet!
