We're certainly not slapping a label on anybody, be it spammer or
otherwise. We do, however, object to cross-posting (posting identical messages in different sections of the board) and posting in topics where the post may not be relevant, but is likely to draw more attention than it would elsewhere, especially if it's for a (potentially) commercial product. No matter what you call it, this isn't really constructive, nor is putting up multiple identical posts after one was deleted.
Brokentusks, I appreciate your speaking up for someone you know. We have no doubt that real_cozzy is indeed good people and weren't making any sort of moral judgment; we were merely reacting to several posts made. Additionally, when we checked out the link provided, a couple red flags went up. Presumably these issues had nothing whatsoever to do with real_cozzy, but we had no way of knowing this. I'm sure that time will show that he is in fact good people, and he'll have a great time on this board.
At any rate, no harm done. Now back to baseball!
