I was gonna name this post "Red Sox are Gay" but I decided not to..

anyways here is a funny article that pretty must disgraces the world champs....Sox fans hide your heads again. I can't wait to see what chant the yankees fans come up with for this one!

BTW I agree, I think the Queer Eye shoot is a stupid thing for the Sox to buy into, but the team brass think it's great -- that it will make Red Sox fans out of people in remote parts of the U.S. who aren't even baseball fans... so, they're doing it for the money.

It's a trade off, this is BY FAR the best ownership group this team has ever had, but fans have to deal with the fact that these owners are VERRRRY into the whole marketing thing, and are always looking for "out-of-the-box" ways to increase the Sox brandability.

As for those chants, acsguitar, bring 'em on... But just wait till you see and hear what we've got planned for 'dem Yanks.. when they come to Fenway next month. B-)

You are 100% correct there, my man. I'd be disappointed in you if you didn't.

I'll even give you some help -- try calling them "The Pink Sox" (One of the Queer Eye guys already used it on Theo at the shoot.) Theo's response was "Nah. Red worked out pretty well for us last year."

Gotta love Theo. ;-D
