What should I do with my team?

Postby ScrappyDoo » Mon May 05, 2003 2:07 am

Im in a 5 person yahoo points league. The rosters are huge because there are only 5 people in the league. At the end of the day im usually in the top 2, sometimes 3. My roster is as follows:

C- Posada
1B- Thome
2B- Biggio
SS- Renteria
3B- Rolen
LF- Berkman
CF- Abreu
RF- Cruz Jr.
OF- Damon
OF- Preston Wilson
OF- Chipper Jones
CI- Chavez
MI- Aurillia
IF- D. Lee
Util- Edmonds
DL- B. Giles

SP- Mussina
SP- Pedro
SP- Vazquez
RP- Ugi
RP- Benitez
RP- Wakefield
P- Woody Williams
P- Chacon
P- Vicente Padilla
P- Tim Worrell
P- Scott Williamson
DL- Randy Johnson

So far I've been plagued with injuries, I had Nen but I had to let him go, although I'm going to pick him up again when Giles gets off the DL. Ive been trying to get Pujols so I could get the Cards 3,4,5 and 6 batters. Does anyone have any comments on my team or possible suggestions to make it better. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Are everyone's teams this strong? Nen on the wire? Wow. I think you're team is awesome, but then again, I don't know much about 5-team leagues; the only weakness is your 2B and MI... is there any way you can get Kent/Soriano? Maybe try to get Tejada cheap with either a closer or an SP.

Most of the teams are really strong as well, the two other best teams are as follows:

Team 1

C- I. Rodriguez
1B Vidro
2B Bagwell
SS Nomar
3B Hillenbrand
LF Bonds
CF Everett
RF Sheffield
OF Mondesi
OF Klesko
OF G. Anderson
CI Palmero
MI Eckstein
IF Sweeney
Util Furcal

SP- Zito, Mulder, Loaiza, Moyer, Moss, K. Brown, Glavine, Pettitte
RP- Wagner, MacDougal, Guardado

Team 2-

C Piazza
1B Helton
2B Kent
SS Tejada
3B Glaus
OF Manny, Beltran, Vlad, J. Pierre, J. Gonzalez, Bernie Williams
IF Sexson, B. Boone, Castillo, Larry Walker
DL Griffey Jr.

SP M. Morris, Clemens, Oswalt, Leiter, Clement, Maddux, Schmidt, Prior
RP- Gagne, Mesa, Foulke
DL- Isringhausen

That took a while, haha. Just letting you see what Im up against.

sorry, dont know if this is of any use but, all three teams are strong but team 2 ..... 8-o yikes....try and get tejada from them now if you can,i cant say how, that is their only "hole" and it will probably close its self up soon as he gets back on track and thats bad for everyone else.
