Yep, and none of these things can be used by my Pirates. Plus, if you put Cameron out there, what happens to Craig Wilson (and actually, I have doubts about where he's going to play now with Tike still there)? He automatically becomes a righty-lefty platooner at first with Daryle Ward. I'll agree that Redman is a total defensive liability, though.

Cameron and Minaya had a heart to heart talk the other day, and Cameron has determined he would be content to play RF for the Mets. With that said, Minaya remarked that there was no necessity to even think about a trade.
Why hasn't he been traded yet? Because he's not available

Cameron had his agent tell Minaya to pull him off the market. He's not available anymore. He'll be starting the season in right field for the Mets, and I think he'll end the season there too.

The rumor out of Houston all winter was C Burke to the A's...E Byrnes to the Mets...M Cameron to the Astros.
This deal is dead, but as an Astros fan I would have rather had Byrnes than Cameron.
