Smoltz by a long shot. Garcia was terrible after the trade last year. I don't see him putting up an ERA under 4.00 pitching there. Only issue with Smoltz is health. If his elbow holds up he'll get some good #'s.

Smoltz is a good, smart pitcher, who's a competitor.

Garcia is a decent, dumb pitcher, and doesn't seem to care a whole lot.

Ya I felt Smoltz by a long shot but then i took a look at some projections (rotochamps to be specific) and they have fred garcia having a great year and smoltz a bit behind him. Related to this... would you rather have abreu and smoltz or beltran and garcia?

i hope those 3 votes for freddy garcia are some kind of bad joke... even if smoltzees arm falls off in the middle of the season, his overall #'s should still be far better than garcia's.
