I saw that Michael Young was batting 3rd with Soriano leading off, Blalock 2nd, and Teixeira getting the cleanup duties in spring training. I noticed they experimented with this late last year and wondered if anybody heard anything about it. If this is the case for 2005:
- Soriano gets a boost - more steals
- Blalock stays the same, maybe a few more RBI with Soriano leadin off
- Young has a huge fantasy value increase batting 3rd in front of Teixeira. He could drive in 120 runs. He isn't much of a stealer so that won't affect him. I think the manager figures his high average and line drive power boost make him a better 3rd spot.
- Teixeira - nothing I can say about this guy that hasn't been said. This would help his value because between Soriano, Blalock, and Young he will have someone on base to drive in.
Easily the sickest infield in the majors..........

I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.
