C. Lee or J. Thomson?

I really like Thomson for this year... and I doubt Lee gets his ERA on the good side of 5. He walks WAY too many and allows a ton of HR's. I don't care if he ahs 200 K potential when he has 100 BB potential and 40 HRA potential as well. The hit to ERA and WHIP far outweighs anything he'll get you in K's.

I say Thomson by a wide margin. His overall numbers were good last year: 14 W, 3.72 ERA, 133 K, 1.32 WHIP. But his second-half stats were killer: 8-1, 2.45 ERA, 61 K, 1.16 WHIP. Can he continue that dominance? Who knows, but how many SPs ever have half a year like that?! So far, he's pitched 9 shut-out innings in ST, for what that's worth. I think he's got the goods.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.
