You've definately got the better offense and he's got the nod in pitching.

It's really close but I think he overall probably has a better team. His pitching is sickening.

It's so close that it's hard to call though, so one breakout player for you, or one injury for him puts you in the lead IMO.

Na, I think the 2nd team is by far better.
By a full point.

The first team is an overall 6, the 2nd team is an over all 7

That is just my opinion

I think you guys got pretty equal teams but when it comes down to it I think your team is better. Your roommates team looks like he spent too many high picks on Johnson Hudson and Sheets. Has 3 studs but not much else for his bats.

His pitching makes his team a bit better, but neither offense is a guarantee, so, he gets the nod.

thanks guys, yeah this is the first 14 team league I've done and I was surprised at how less the quality of the rosters are in 12 team leagues.
I agree that we're pretty even though, it'll probably come down to how well Pettitte and Giambi can come back.

hmm, i'm gonna disagree with most apparently... his team is sick pitching wise, and better than yours hitting wise:

Kendall > Lo Duca
Lee >> Millar
Roberts > Womack
Wright ~ Blalock
Cabs << Noma'
Hillenbrand (who knows what Giambi does) Giambi
Lee < Cabs
Giles >> Finley
Lofton < Hidalgo
Gonz slightly < Mench
UTs about a wash.

I'd take his side...

You think Giles is a lot better than Finley? I dunno man, Finley's gonna have Vlad behind him and Giles seems to be declining every year, and that park is no treat either.
I also think Millar will have a good year, he bulked up over the offseason and no longer has to platoon with that goofy ball-stealing guy with the long name.

anyway, I don't mean to be defensive, I just wasn't sure I agreed on a couple of points, thanks for the input though
