Ok, my big league 400 dollar entry is all set for the 28th, and I have the 11th out of 14 or 16 people depending on if we acquire two more. So my question just as I posed last year is who should I take in the first round and on the come around? It's a snake style draft. I'm thinking Tejada or Manny and then Chavez. Any thoughts?
Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

Tejada won't make it that far. 11th pick is too early for Chavez. Manny would sound about right. A few others to consider. Bonds, Helton, Rolen, and Crawford. I think the top two pitchers, Santana and RJ will be gone by then. Too early for any of the closers or any other SP.
i think he means manny or tejada then chavez in the second. if theres 16, you have a shot at manny or bonds, id take one of those two then take teixera, if available with your second pick.

What kind of league is it - h2h, roto? standard cats?
Ok, I'll clarify to all. It is Roto, it is standard cats, I did mean Chavez in the second round.
I def. dont expect RJ, Santana to be there and I dont draft an sp in the first round anyway. IMO, Chavez has MVP written all over him this year. I also know from the past that one guy always drafts Pedro too early and he is before me this year so I am going to assume he is gone. As for some other names mentioned:
Helton-will be gone for certain.
Teixeira- Hmm. A definite possibilty.
I have anticipated the following people to have a shot at going right before my pick. Arod, Pujols, Beltran, vlad, RJ, Johan, Helton. Many opinions welcome

Abreu might make it down there...in which case, and Abreu/Crawford snake would be SWEET.

I wouldn't be surprised if Helton fell that far, I've been stealing him at the 11th spot this year. If you feel zesty you could pick Crawford, but you might be able to get him after the turn.
If you can get manny, tejada, and chavez... go for it.
Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.
