NIRVANA WINS THE BATTLE OF THE MODERN ROCK BANDS

Postby ironman » Mon Mar 14, 2005 12:53 pm

Thanks to everyone that has stuck it out over the last month here. This last poll will be 3 days. I'm tired of posting bios and pics so if you're pulling for one of these bands, feel free to add your own stuff to this thread.

10 years ago i would have put in a Nirvana CD, given the option, but today, Appetite for Destruction gets my vote.

I liked Nirvana, but they're talentless hacks compared to GnR. I cast my vote for GnR, the last great rock band.

Guns N' F'N Roses.. I hope they win it all that would be friggin awesome incredible....

Nirvana is a great band but GNR is way more talented in all senses..

Cobain vs. Axl: Singing and Songwriting: PUSH
Cobain vs. Slash Guitar: Slash
Cobain vs. Axl Musical aptitude: Axl for his piano
Drums: Push
Bass: GNR
Lyrics close but gotta give it to GNR... I like both bands but GNR is it for me
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

GnR here. Should have been PJ in the final, but Axl and Slash get my vote.

This is one of the silliest comments I've ever seen on this board.

Nirvana.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

Should be Metallica winning it all :-/ , but since somehow they lost, it goes to GNR. ;-D

A push in drums? The only decent drummer GNR ever had was Steve Adler.

As for this "contest" it's Nirvana easily.
