When is Pedro's second start of the season?

Postby Absolutely Adequate » Mon Mar 14, 2005 12:15 pm

I'm having trouble deciding which game to buy tickets for - the Saturday game or the Sunday game. I want to see Pedro pitch and I know it'll be one of those two days.

Does anyone have any inside information? I want good tickets, which means I need to buy them asap.

Thanks

It looks like his second start will be in Atlanta on Sunday and then his Shea debut would be on Saturday vs. Florida barring any rain/snow outs.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. I want to see him pitch, but I can really only afford the time to go to one of the games. I'll take Sunday.

Wish me luck.

Wasn't he supposed to start tonight? Think he got scratched due to minor lower back soreness. Petit is pitching instead.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

All right- I've got good tickets for the Pedro/Smoltz pitching matchup. Hopefully, Pedro will look as good as he did in his first start and Smoltz will look as bad as he did during his first start. This will be the game that brings us back to .500 and starts our championship run, so I'll save the ticket.

You need a banner or something so we can look for you. :-D

I'm not really a banner guy, but here's a promise. If Pedro pitches a no-hitter, I'll streak the field. Think you could recognize me then?
