well i think he and burke will start until berkman comes back. After that time i see a platoon affair with burke starting some days and willie starting others while biggio plays 2nd. Either way AStros fans i think this biggios last year in houston i jus thave a feeling he will be gone no matter what after this year even if does not to retire after this year.
Willy is fase, but as the saying goes, you can't steal first base. I haven't seen a projection yet that suggests he can post an OPS over .700, a BA over .270, or a SLG over .350. He needs at least a year, maybe 18 months in AAA. The 'stros may push him, but he's not ready.
Until Berkman comes back, as Lane will likely struggle at CF, I can see Tavares getting decent PT (and a few steals). Once Berkman returns, I don't know. For 2006, I think he's a solid option. He allegedly plays good defense, and slugging from a SB threat doesn't really matter to me (I'll take Pierre any day of the week even though he couldn't slug his way oput of a paper bag). Just depends on your league as to whether he's draftable.

Well, Pierre hits for average. I haven't seen a projection yet that has Willy hit better than .260.
