Really. I like Woody, but isn't Westbrook a better bet?

Care to elaborate? Obviously they both represent less than sure things. Woody is injury prone and no spring chicken. Westbrook is hardly established.

I would take Woody also. I'm not sure how you can call WW injury-prone since he has had 31 and 34 starts respectively the last two seasons. 8 of his 12 season he's had 30+ starts. Yes he's old and he carries the same risk as any old pitcher. But I really like his prospects pitching in PETCO. I think we'll see a return to the sub-4.00 ERA.

Westbrook isn't a bad option and behind that CLE offense he might beat out Woody in the Wins category but he isn't likely to match the 3.38 ERA IMO. For ERA, WHIP, K I'd take my chances with Woody.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Hmmm.

OK. Faced with a somewhat weird situation in a keeper league that was just drafted. The rankings for some of the bottom level SPs were kind of messed up on the CBS site and I re-did the lists manually to my liking like other owners. I like many of the other owners missed Westbrook, El Duque and Woody as they were way down the list initially. Our own stupidity, but now all three are going to get claimed in all liklihood off of waivers. I can pickup one for free with my #2 waiver as I have Berkman I can put on a DL slot to clear a roster spot. Question is which one of the 3 to go for first and which one second. Since Leiter is my 6th starter, I sort of need the extra SP.
