12-team head-to-head league on Yahoo
NL and AL players
Stats used: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

C M. Piazza (NYM - C,1B)
1B D. Lee (ChC - 1B)
2B J. Reyes (NYM - 2B,SS)
3B E. Chávez (Oak - 3B)
SS M. Tejada (Bal - SS)
OF B. Bonds (SF - OF)
OF J. Edmonds (StL - OF)
OF C. Patterson (ChC - OF)
Util M. Young (Tex - SS)
BN P. Burrell (Phi - OF)
BN C. Blake (Cle - 3B)
BN R. Hidalgo (Tex - OF)

SP F. García (CWS - SP)
SP B. Webb (Ari - SP)
RP E. Guardado (Sea - RP)
RP J. Affeldt (KC - RP)
P C. Cordero (Was - RP)
P J. Weaver (LAD - SP)
P B. Arroyo (Bos - SP)
BN J. Thomson (Atl - SP)
BN R. Wolf (Phi - SP)

Notes-
The only drop/add I've done was Bernie Williams for Hidalgo.
As for trades, I traded S. Linebrink (SD - RP) for Wolf, which i'm not so sure about having done...
I feel really confident about my offense, but I'm really unsure about the pitching. I'm thinking, maybe I could trade a batter for a good SP?
BTW, my league had an autopick draft, and I just went with the default pre-rankings, so I guess that's why I'm so thin on pitching.

Any help would be great!

The pitching staff is going to need some of work to hold up the progress your offense makes. You might want to try and pick up a strong K/WHIP MR to replace one of your backend starters or see if you can snag a top tier pitcher in trade for some of your excess offense.

michael young is a great shortstop but not that great as a util. i would suggest trying to trade him to someone who has a weaker ss and pick up some sp. also who is available on waivers for sp. Hidalgo will put up semi-comperable power numbers to young this year minus the sb. or maybe see if someone will overpay for tejada. you have two of the top 5 or 6 ss it shouldn't be hard to find a taker.

great offense...below average starting pitching....

i would put tejada on the market and see if you can get a couple great pitchers for him...with you having 3 of the best SS, some teams are lacking there.... put tejada out there and see who comes calling....
