Sexson = What Pitcher???

Postby Irish » Sun Mar 13, 2005 11:04 pm

I have Tex at first and currently have Sexson in my util. I have 2 stud pitchers in Prior and O. Perez, but would like a third cause my offense has enough power.

So.......who should I be aimng for?

I was thinking:

Sexson and B. Penny

for

C. Zambrano

I also have Escobar, but if I included him I would want someone like Peavy. Anyway, enough chitter chatter, thoughts?

If I was the CZam owner I would not do that trade.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

If I was the guy you were trading with, I doubt I would do a two for one - Ive always concidered those sucker trades.

One for one however, I just dealt Mussina for him.

Yeah, I understand that. If I traded Sexson and Escobar would that be worth Zambrano???

I honestly think Sexson will be great in that lineup so I might just wait it out if getting a stud isn't possible.

I like Moose's chances this season. Going cheap in a lot of leagues too, imo.

If you have faith in Sexson then by all means you need to wait until he proves he is back. If he comes out hitting on all cylinders his stock will be incredibly higher. The only way I would trade him right now was if you had no confidence in his recovery.
