Thats the main reason he isn't a top 8 pick. His stock is somewhat low after having a "down" season last year. Not much reason to take him top 8 when you can get him for much less. I agree with Jackal though that he will most likely produce top 8 value.

if he posted those numbers with a bum shoulder, just imagine what hes gonna do with a good one.

i say top 8 production as well.

I'd keep RJ and Sheff over Wright and Morneau in less than a heartbeat. Put it this way: RJ and Sheff for Wright and Morneau would be a vetoable trade if anyone ever made it.

I got Sheff 18th in my draft today. I hope for huge things from him...

If you're looking at the future, as well as this year, I'd keep Unit, but not Sheff. I'm not certain if I'd keep Wright or Morneau... Morneau should be a fine hitter (top comps include Klesko circa '95 and Teixeira's '04 model), but I think Wright has a chance to develop more than Morneau, based purely on his age...

Not quite sure I understand the scenario. You get to keep 2? If so. no way you lose RJ or Sheff. Wright and Morneau are not first or second round picks and would be available if you want them.

If you have more keepers, you need to post that info here.

I'm targeting hem as keepers on my team but could choose one of those young guns to replace them on my keepr list. I am a little leery of Johnson and his knee. I am less concerned with Sheff but he is 36 and at what point does he begin his decline?
