Iowa Wisconsin game

Iowa is in the tourney. They have a bunch of good non-conference wins, and the win over Michigan St. sealed it. The Hawkeyes will be dancing.

I'm interested in hearing why Iowa has no chance on making it.
They finished 21-11.
Non Conference wins include-Texas,Louisville, Texas Tech, Iowa St. UNI. They also beat Mich St. and played close games with the #1 team twice, once taking them to OT.
They had an 8-9 Big 10 record which isn't great, but with their non-conference schedule I think it's good enough.

I realize they're now without Pierce but I think this team has proven over the past couple weeks that they can play without him.

I'm not saying they are going to make the tourney, I just disagree that they have no chance ;-)

Iowa lost all chances of making the NCAA tourney by not beating Wisconsin

Yeah there's no way they'll make it.

Here's to Iowa vs. Iowa State in the NIT! ;-D

It could happen.

Wow not only did they make it, but they're a 10 seed!!!

Iowa v. Iowa St. can happen but they would have to both make it to the final 4 ;-7

I'm a grad of UNI. I can't believe they're in. Do you think Bowlsby helped nudge them in?

I think Wisconsin is the better team but UNI matches up well with them. Should be a great game.

Cool, I graduated from UNI in '01. I think UNI's win over Iowa State helped, plus they did take Cincy to like 3 OT's before losing. If they are firing on all cylinders and Jacobsen and Crawford are on from long range they are a tough team to beat.
