Actually, Helton IS a great hitter. Just not a great power hitter.

why ddo so many people think someone hitting 50 hr is so unlikely...

I would say that the two that have three that have the best chance are Adam Dunn, Albert Pujols and Jim Thome.

I really like the Glaus as a sleeper pick. He once hit in the mid 40s with the Angels when healthy.

All you guys that think A-Rod is going to hit 50 are smoking the crack rock. :-°

Won't happen in Yankee Stadium. :-t You also have to account for the few down weeks he will have after the Red Sox players call him some more names. :~(
