Actually, Helton IS a great hitter. Just not a great power hitter.

why ddo so many people think someone hitting 50 hr is so unlikely...

I would say that the two that have three that have the best chance are Adam Dunn, Albert Pujols and Jim Thome.

I really like the Glaus as a sleeper pick. He once hit in the mid 40s with the Angels when healthy.

All you guys that think A-Rod is going to hit 50 are smoking the crack rock.
Won't happen in Yankee Stadium.

You also have to account for the few down weeks he will have after the Red Sox players call him some more names.
