improve. i'm really liking this kid for this year. power hitter, playing in coors. did well last year. i think he'll have a surprisingly good year, especially if p wilson is healthy.
Matt Holiday DOES intrigue me. OK power OF in CO could always have something happen. I like Mike Gonzalez a lot too though so the deal is kind of a toss up. I don't see Williams contributing a lot this year. I'm not sure I would have quite given up so much for him but, as these are kind of scrubs, it's more a case of what you think they might do for you.
I'd rank them: Gonz, Holliday and Williams w/ Gonz the highest so I'm not sure I'd go for the deal BUT, if your P are fine and you are looking for an OF w/ some upside, that's an ok deal. BP points out that Holliday played quite above what he'd project at based on his minor league numbers but he is 25 so he could end up either way.

Holliday has spent some of spring training working with Todd Helton on how to handle inside pitches, in order to be more of a power hitter, the Denver Post reports. Holliday believes that those discussions have borne fruit, pointing to the 445-foot homer he hit in Wednesday's spring training game.

hmmm, I have Michael Barrett as a backup catcher, maybe I'll just dump him for now and stash Holliday on the WW. I don't really have room for an OF though....hanging out w/ Todd Helton couldn't hurt though...hmmmm....
