League counts 5x5 plus OBP and TB. Should have Helton in the first and wanted to tackle a weak position in the second. Would like to gamble on Soriano but his hamstrings and weak OBP scare me. Is he worth a second rounder or should i take another big bat like Sheffield or Ichiro.

Yes I would take SOriano in the 2nd in that type of league. I feel that he will have a nice bouce back year and Showwalter will let him run much more often.

One more caveat about my league....need 2 starters at each infield position. 20 second baseman need to be drafted.

20 2b need to be drafted and Soriano isnt a first rd pick? Now thats a competitive league - not one person buying the Soriano kool-aid. I like that.Maybe target Giles in the 3rd then - he'll be a massive traget for a lot of people in your league.
Just to let you know where Im coming from, I dont think Soriano will be the #1 2B this yr - just like last yr.

Soriano>Giles

I'm not sure I'd expect that. Giles injuries have been more from freak accidents, eg the collisions w/ Prior and Jones, rather than sprung cartilage/ ligaments/ muscles (although the ankle is a bit of a concern...) but is 27. Soriano OTOH, has been declining for a couple of years now and is not getting any younger either at 29 years old, had hamstring problems and STILL gets sick #s of K at the plate so, unless he got the 155 mph tennis ball machine and worked out w/ it all winter (not likely while recovering...), he's not likely to be any sharper @ the plate. For an OBP league, he is of questionable value and Ichiro will add a lot more to your team for that sort of category.
I like Soriano and all that and think he's an intriguing player but not on my team w/a first round pick. Last year he fell to the second in our league and I grabbed him anyway and he kind of torpedoed a lot of my #s all year (this in 13x13 H2H...so the OBP was a concern!)

Actually Giles had MANY pulls and strains over the last two years and the Prior collision was the rare occurrence.
