Who's the better pick with this scoring system?

Scoring for Batting Categories
BB - Walks (Batters) 1 point
HP - Hit by Pitch .5 points
R - Runs 1 point
RBI - Runs Batted In 1 point
SB - Stolen Bases 2 points
TB - Total Bases 1 point

2004 Totals w/same scoring system: (real close)

Manny 675.0
Tejada 667.0

Tejada, his numbers might actually go up slightly this year with more offensive power in O town. Plus, I know SS isnt as scarce as its been in the past, but its still much harder to fill than OF

Yeah, I think I'd still take Tejada. Neither guy steals terribly much...Manny walks more by a little bit, but you can get other OF's that do the same. Who knows...maybe Tejada will walk more this year with Sosa behind him (since he's been K'ing more recently). No other shortstop is going to get you as many RBI's as Tejada would, either. :-)
