A-ROD
BELTRE
GLAUS
A-RAM
BLALOCK
HUFF
ROLEN
CHAVEZ
LOWELL
C.JONES
He will be better than any of those? David Wright isn't even top-10 and I would take him before Boone. I put Boone somewhere around Koskie.

Boone is only a marginal starter in a 12 team league. I am very much doubting the SB production will be there as he is not yet fully recovered from this injury and you never know if he will give you an OK BA like .280 or if he will hit .255, which is not worth the 20 HRs he will give you. How is this any better in a total value sense than guy like Hillenbrand who will hit .280-.300 with 15 or so HRs? I don't think anyone would be too happy with Hillenbrand as their starting 3B.

So how many SB is that? I think that if there's anything to look at from Boone's spring training stats it's whether he's healthy enough and has the green light to steal lots of bases. If he does he should return to pre-injury production.

I'm in a 14-team league and have him penciled (if healthy) as exactly the No. 14 guy at 3b. Could be a good value there and may well exceed projections if he suffers no setback.
