I actually used it once in a hockey video montage (in college). It's just an uptempo song that works well with fast-cut sports highlights. Not sepcific to big hits, per se. Just a good sports soundtrack choice, that's out of the ordinary.

notta huge fan of heavy metal, and yes it is for school.. i kept trying to download limp bizkit- rolling.. but never get a good copy...

As for songs... can't go wrong with House of Pain - Jump Around.

And one that the lyrics might be appropriate for hits, although it has a slow tempo is Gimme Stitches by the Foo Fighters - "Dress me up in stitches it's now or never, I'm tired of wearing black and blue.... Dress me up in stitches it's now or never, I'm dying to get my blood on you"

It's kinda slow though... but it was the first one that came to mind. For a faster paced song... you can't go wrong with Black Betty by Ram Jam. Maybe "Body Movin" by the Beastie Boys would fit somewhere. Or "Good Times" by Finger Eleven. Just some ideas, don't know specifically where they'd fit.

I'm still playing so I can't say yet. Not for the #1 ranked D1 team in the nation, but the club team :-D
