As most of you know, I am a Yankee fan and, even though I know that they lost the series, I was just watching the best of on the YES network. I must say that, even though I knew the outcome, I still got goosebumps again. It was a great series and the things that positively stood out to me were game 4 with Tino and Jeter and game 5 with Brosius. The best thing was in game 5. The chant for O'Neill was awesome. :,-(

Sorry to take up your time. I just wanted to say something about this. It was a great series, in spite of the outcome. I am fully aware that a lot of Yankee haters will laugh at this but so be it.

its one of the best I've ever seen. When Soranio homered in the 7th (or 8th) I thought the yankees had it in the bag.

I know where you're coming from... One of my opening day rituals
is to play a recording of Russ Hodges call of the shot heard round the world so I can hear "The Giants win the pennant!!!" etc etc...
probably heard it a hundred times, but it still gives me goose-bumps

That was an awesome split by Schilling and an even better hit by Soriano. :-°

Isn't there a Yankee forum for Yankee lovers to wax nostalgic?

Can we get a mod to move this?

Game 7 was one of the best all time.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Best World Series I've ever seen in my 26 years of life. I would love to be able to watch it once a year.

It predates your 26 years, but the 1975 Series is pretty great.
