Javier Vasquez, Back to his old self?

I predict the west looking like this
Dodgers
Padres
Giants
D-backs
Rockies

As for effecting Vasquez's value, it should effect him a bit. Even though Arizona made acquisitions like Shawn Green, Russ Ortiz, Troy Glaus, and Javier Vasquez, I still see him not having enough run support. His k's will still be there and should have around 14 or 15 wins. Vasquez however, will appreciate the National League better (didn't do so well in the AL)

I can't believe you had your fifth starter by the 14th and it was Vazquez nonetheless.

back to his old self? No, i think he's intimidated in NY

Better than last year, absolutely. I think midway between the two is a good estimate. He should be a good num 2 or 3 pitcher on any team, and should in no way be around after round 10

misunderstanding of my poor typing, was attempting to say the damage from trying to suceed there caused brain damage, people tend not to recover from that

i still stick by my statement, he'll be midway between last year and the previous seasons

That's a completely irrational thing to say.

I can't believe anyone would ever think that.

Brain damage?

Irreparable brain damage by playing for the Yankees 8-o Maybe somebody should have told Pavano and Wright before they signed their contrats. After all, what's more important, money or health?

But I think Vazquez will be fine. Maybe it's not the spotlight that makes Yankee SP's suck, maybe Mel Stottlemyre is just a senile old man who gives bad advice. Todd was never really that good anyway.
