NEER RP?......Well read this post now!

While driving home from work just now, it was announced on the FAN590 (Toronto) that Miguel Batista has been moved back to the pen and his been handed the closers job. Josh Towers will take over the 5th spot in the rotation.
Batista, by no means a top option at RP but he he assured the job with a potential .500 team. He may just become a very cheap D. Kolb, Looper, or Takatsu, and IMO should be better than alot of the following: Affeldt, Wickman, Aquino, Borowski, Dempster (or whoever closes in Chic), Mesa, Tsao, Graves, Adams, Baez.

haven't seen any link yet, but if you can tune into FAN590 on the radio, it is being reported every 20 minutes on the sports update. 6:20pm you'll hear it.

I've heard it mentioned numerous times on the radio and also heard it from the YES announcers during the Yanks/Jays game. It's official. Decent RP to grab, especially if you can land him in the late rounds.

Could possibly flop out of the job but I'd look for Hermanson type numbers. Non era/whip killer with about 30 odd saves.
