He forced me to keep him with these efforts. Only $1 as a rookie, so hopefully it will pay off. But, the problem may be that he makes the team, and his own the roster long enough to not be a rookie next year, so then I will have to keep him for $6, which I wouldn't do unless he tore it up.
2 or 3 years ago Josh Fogg ended ST being in the top 10 in K's for all of MLB. I drafted him. He sucked that year and he still sucks.
ST stats dont mean all that much.

Exactly. As someone just mentioned Abraham Nunez (of the Marlins at the time, now of the Royals) last year and his power surge. And then there was Hank Blalock a couple of years back, who struggled as soon as the season began. Spring training is good to see who's healthy and who has starting jobs. Spring stats are a poor predictor to season success otherwise.

Groundball pitchers like Lowe have a WHIP that's really hard to project. It depends so much on the IF defense and a lotta luck on where the ball is hit and how hard. They have a lot more variation in hit rates than FB pitchers (those guys have the problem that the dingers are a little unpredictable--one year a few of those warning track fly balls drift into the seats).
Brandon Inge hit his third, fourth HR today. He is a big time sleeper for catcher. He is suppossed to get full time PT. Further, he was batting in the TWO hole. That is right in front of Pudge and Maggs!
