Some players who have had nice springs that I think are good bets for the season: Derek Lowe, Carlos Lee, Austin Kearns (please stay healthy!), and Jose Reyes. Obviously these are not sleepers...but it is nice to see them healthy and producing.
oh man good ole tuffy rhodes. i remember that 4 homer game, it was amazing, and Im a sox fan. i believe he is the all-time home run champ of japan.

I thought Saduhara Oh has the most homeruns of Japan and even more dingers than Hank Aaron.
I think Tuffy Rhodes has the single season record. But maybe they stopped pitching to him when he got within one, I can't remember. Anyway it was something to do with the single season record, not career.

Tuffy tied the record of 55 HRs in a season (55? Japan needs the juice).
A few years later Alex Cabrera also tied it.
I don't think Tuffy is anywhere near the all time record.
This year he also doesn't count as a foreign player.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.
Lowes' a tough one to project... I have him for an ERA just a bit above 4 but his WHIP is a killer at 1.35+. And he probably won't get a lot of W's or K's either.
