And in a redraft league. Tex will be a monster this year. I'm predicting that he passes Helton for the #2 firstbaseman slot behind Pujols this year, and will be a consensus first round pick next year.

Good luck with your prediction there BN. :-o

wanna bet on it? :-D

Teix. And I wouldn't want any part of Ortiz that early.

Texiera, come on

He'll post better numbers in EVERY category EXCEPT MAYBE HR's and Im not willing to conceed HR's to ortiz either. Texas has been drooling over this guy for a while.

Though he might have gotten himself in the doghouse with Hicks with his comments yesterday.

I say Ortiz... I'm one of the few people who actually thinks he's gonna get better instead of worse.

Ortiz gets no credit. Anyone that lets Ortiz fall to the bottom of the second round is an idiot. He is one of the most under-rated players in my estimate. Has anyone seen the guy play? Obviously not. He's an animal at the plate. He should post the same, if not better, numbers this year. I like Teixera alot as well, but to say Teixera is much better than Ortiz is a complete joke. Good luck backing yourself with that statement at the end of the year. Id say Teixera hits 40HR, 115RBI, 109R, and a .287AVE. Ortiz 44HR, 129RBI, 106R, .296AVE.
