Take a flyer on Joe Crede or Keith Ginter??

The strange this is that Wily Mo is still there in your draft. In all the drafts I've been in he was taken early-to mid middle rounds. But Crede has a starting job and I really like him to hit 30 some hr this year. I think they move him to 4 or 5 in the lineup. I think he may be a pleasant surprise.

I would probably go with Wily Mo but I don't think he will get much PT.

Crede is definitely someone to keep an eye on. I was pretty high on him last year and took him 22nd in our keeper league. Guys like Crede are nice b/c he will be there when he starts to break out and you can nab him when he does.

Crede is the player who scares you when you don't draft him. You're fed up with him, like Beltre, but you don't want to give up, because you just know that the year he breaks out, you won't own him.

I'd take Inge and Pena over Crede. Maybe Blake...

Lots of love for Crede in this thread. Remember, Crede was 25 when he started at the major league level-- he was old when he came up. Not remotely like Beltre. I agree he will get somewhat better, but we're already talking about his prime years right now. His prime is only going to be slightly improved than his not-particularly-interesting path.
Because of the C eligibility and age, I like Inge in this spot. Myers, too, is more likely to break out than Crede, IMO.

Inge has that catcher eligibility. He may have better numbers than Mauer this year who has been hurting during spring training again.
