Draft just ended, how'd I do?

Postby Grizzlies » Wed Mar 09, 2005 8:27 pm

I was totally unprepared this year (no excuse) and walked in on my draft in the middle of the first round (damn traffic). I had the 5th pick in a 10-team Yahoo! total points league and the computer autoselected Vlad for me (thanks computer!). We start 1-C, 1-1B, 1-2B, 1-SS, 1-3B, 3-OF, 1-Util, 3-SP, 2-RP. I included the same player in all positions they are elibigle in, obviously can only play them in one at a time. Those guys are in italics.

Here's my team, what do you think, what are my chances?
C- V. Martinez
1B- T. Hafner, P. Konerko, S. Green
2B- M. Giles, P. Polanco, J. Lugo
SS- E. Renteria, J. Lugo
3B- S. Rolen, P. Polanco
OF- Vlad, J. Edmonds, S. Green, L. Ford
SP- J. Schmidt, Oliver Perez, M. Mussina, B. Radke, A. Leiter
RP- F. Cordero, L. Hawkins, B. Wickman

For being unprepared, you picked a pretty good team. It is a 10 team league so there will be FA available on the waiver wire. The only weak point I can see is your closers. Your bench is kinda weak too, whos available for hitters?

Help me out! http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/foru ... p?t=101633

Any other opinions? I don't like my closers. Hawkins may not even get the job and I'm not crazy about Wickman, but there isn't much else out there. Hopefully somebody who was undrafted will start putting up some decent numbers.
