Kerry Wood left today's game against Texas after experiencing tightness in his right shoulder while warming up for the third inning.

Whenever it seems like Wood is reliable as a top pitcher, something like this happens, its why I stayed away from him in my drafts.

Seems as though every single ache/pain is reported now-a-days. A guy stubbs his toe and slips 30 picks in a draft an hour afterwards...

The latest I heard he felt a little tightness while warming up between innings. He could have kept pitching but since it is spring training they are being careful and decided to take him out. They are not going to do an MRI and he is supposed to make his next start. I guess this is coming from Kerry himself being interviewed on a Chicago radio station. But I didn't hear the interview. This is all second hand info. It doesn't sound too serious though.
