Padres centerfield prospect Freddy Guzman could be out for the season because of an elbow surgery.
He will miss at least a few weeks, probably more, while the Padres decide if Guzman requires reconstructive surgery. He has a damaged ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. This injury puts pressure on Dave Roberts to stay healthy this season and may require the Padres to look for centerfield depth. Mar. 9 - 11:34 am et
