You got a steal on Walker and Nixon ;-D

Not a big Helton fan, but he's obviously a great 1B. Solid team.

I'm not sure I like Figgins at second though :-P

i like figgins, but not for 12 bucks... should have looked for roberts, since they are about the same player, and roberts would be a little cheaper... i like borowski for 3 bucks, he will be closing for the cubbies and he will do well for them... well worth it ;-D

There's a fair number of risks on your team:

Crosby (not convinced by him yet)
Walker (back troubles?)
Mags (is he really back to full health?)
Burnett & Halladay (great if healthy, but...)

If everyone does stay healthy, there's tremendous upside, and you've got some good deals IMO.
Great value on your bench as well, with guys like Freel, Holliday & Francis.
And you got two 1st-rounders at prices which weren't over the odds.

So, yeah, risky, but potentially great!

hehe, no one's said anything on the guy i think i overspent the most on. B-)

i like figgins, not sure if $12 is too much, but will give me eveything except for power of course.

some are risky, but i think the risks are on the minimal side, compared to the potential rewards.

Now there's a challenge! Who do you mean... :-?

Could be Baez - maybe you overspent on a far-from-convincing closer but you really needed a second to go with Cordero.

Or Kendall - is he worth $8? I've heard some people say that you should never spend more than $5 on a catcher (unless he's one of the top 3).

I think you will do fine with Figgins for $12 plus you team need the SB. Maggs and Crosby are more than I would have spent. No really bad deal IMO.

All in all the team looks pretty solid. ;-D Even better if Jo Bo gets the closers job. Some more SP depth would help. I also think you can find someone more valuable than Crain for this year.

I like it alot... risks are always part of the game and you cant be shy about taking them because you be sure that someone else in your league will be!
