These past few days I was at a competition for my HS for DECA, this club which is an association for marketing students. I am in it because I am in a marketing class. You choose a category and take a test and do a role-play for a judge. My category was sports and entertainment marketing. I lucked out on my roleplay. I had to assume the position of a supervisor to a baseball GM and help him come up with a plan to raise attendance and to improve our slumping team. In my presentation I included dumping our aging, overpaid pitcher for fresh young prospects. It seemed like it was made for me. My partner and I (a member of my fantasy baseball league) got 2nd on our test scores (averaged out), 1st on the roleplay, and 1st overall. So we now get to go to Anaheim, CA in Mayfor nationals . Pretty neat stuff.
Even though it was a cupcake of an assignment. Lol.

no, not on the yankees, more towards the Royals situation with kevin appier (I live in KC). I based a lot of my strategies for boosting attendance on what the Royals have done with their promotions.
you are going to anaheim... are you gonna see the Los Angelos Orange County Mendicino Angels of Anaheim California of the United States of America specifically north america.. I hear they are gonna be good this year.
My teacher said that since it's 8 guys from our school going and we all know each other, we can two places to go. We voted on an Angels game and Universal Studios/Busch Gardens.
