i thought i read somewhere that the starting pitchers voted who get to be opening day starter. carp supposedly looks really sharp so that is great news. gammons says the cards might actually have a better team than last year and if carpenter and morris are healthy i would agree with him.

I think you have to add Mulder to that list as well, but if that is the case, I guess I have to say I agree with Gammons on something.
