I think Ortiz is going to bat 3rd this season leaving manny the clean up spot. Ortiz will have more runs than last year with virtually the same or near amount of rbis. 105/38/123/ .297
Does anyone know if the A's have any plans to play Durazo at 1B? I just found out he is not eligible after drafting him in a deep league as my 1B spot. Oops!
At least Darin Erstad is still available

He is the full time DH and backs up Hatteberg at 1b - depending on your league eligibility rules, if it is 5 games played, he should gain 1b eligibility sometime this year but not soon. Maybe by the AS break? Not sure.
The problem with Jacobsen is that he doesn't have a position. Ibanez is the DH and Sexson is the 1B. I doubt they'll bench Winn or Reed, and stick Ibanez in the OF, just to get Bucky Jacobsen AB's. Bucky was a nice story last year but he was 29 before he had any minor league success.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
In my opinion, the best sleeper is Paul Konerko...I see him slipping to the 12th or 13th round in a lot of leagues and if you are in need of homers he can be a great addition.
I got Konerko in the 10th round and had him slotted into the very bottom of the first tier of 1B, based on last year's stats, anticipating this year's. BAs not great but, as long as he stays healthy, the ballpark factor should help him out. As a backup, I have Wilkerson who I think may do better than projected in the more solid environment in Washington. W/ the loving guidance of J. Guillen giving him tips, etc. hee hee...
