I played C, 3B, and 2B in high school. I was ok, but nothing special. Loved to catch though. Just loved being a part of every play....

played up untill our junior levels here in montreal, but after that, there is not much higher to go. it's ok though, i tore up my knee in the final year, so no way i'd be able to play anyways. being catcher for so many years can do that to you. :,-(

I play left field right now on varsity for my HS team. I am pretty quick, but I don't hit for a lot of power though. Last year I hit 7th, but that was we had a senior who was extremely fast, he gave up sprinting the 100 on track to play baseball. He hit leadoff and was like 3rd in the conference in sb's. I hope to try and hit leadoff this year, I have most of my life and love it.

Well that's just like, your opinion man.

That would be expected, of course I know there are a lot of people here at the Cafe that are only in HS. Maybe one of us will play ML ball someday B-)

Then I got to old to hit of a Tee and my outfield hitting power didnt compensate for my .187AVE in little league. I followed the coaches advice and started to lean into more pitches and managed a respectable OBP besides my horrible AVE.

As a stocky short fat white boy I just didnt have the skills to take my game to the high school level.

I hold numerous records in both Backyard Nerf baseball and Wiffleball.

Anyone wanting an interview, please submit your questions in advance so my liazon can present me with the ones most flattering to my image.

It's tough being a backyard legend :-o
